Swanson Midgley Volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House

10/01/08

A group of Swanson Midgley attorneys and staff volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Kansas City on October 1, 2008.  This event was preceded by donation collections for Ronald McDonald House's Wishlist.  The volunteers delivered the collected Wishlist items and assisted with maintenance tasks to aid the Ronald McDonald House.  As stated on the Ronald McDonald Kansas City Charities website:  "For more than 25 years, Kansas City’s Ronald McDonald House Charities’ mission has been to reduce the burden of childhood illness on children and their families. We serve nearly 2,200 children and their families in our Houses each year."  Like most non-profit, charitable institutions, the Ronald McDonald House relies on donors and volunteers to assist them in their mission.  This event was held as part of the continuing efforts of Swanson Midgley to give back to the Kansas City community..
