Building code compliance can seem like an uphill battle – do you know what you are up against? James Freeman will present the legal implications of code compliance at a seminar on August 28, 2008, Kansas City Marriott Downtown, 200 West 12th Street, Kansas City, Missouri. Mr. Freeman will discuss the legal effect of “on the ground and running” code compliance, from who has legal responsibility to assure code compliance to what happens if an inspector realizes after full occupancy that the inspector made a mistake and should not have granted the certificate of occupancy.
