Swanson Midgley Attorney John Miller Named as a Nominee for Missouri Court of Appeals Western District

It is with great pride that we congratulate our member, John Miller, on being one of three attorneys nominated by the Appellate Judicial Commission for the Missouri Court of Appeals Western District to fill retired Judge Lowenstein's vacancy. The other two candidates are Platte County Circuit Judge Gary Witt and Jackson County Circuit Judge Ann Mesle. The nominees have been presented to Governor Nixon for his consideration, and Governor Nixon has 60 days to make a decision.
Although this is a prestigious honor for John and Swanson Midgley, John would be dearly missed if he is selected by the Governor.
Again, congratulations John!
