Jacqueline Melchior Completes 2010 Boston Marathon in 3:24:41

In what is arguably the most prestigious road racing event in the world, Jacqueline Melchior Olathe, KS runner celebrated a remarkable performance in the 2010 Boston Marathon. The race held April 19, 2010 had 9,721 total female competitors from 79 different countries. Melchior crossed the finish line with a time of 3:24:41 taking nearly 14 minutes off her 2008 Boston Marathon time. She finished 797 overall female and 110th in her age group in the world's oldest annual marathon event.
