06/29/09

Congratulations to Holly Fisher on obtaining LEED AP certification.

Swanson Midgley attorney Holly L. Fisher earned her LEED professional accreditation on June 29, 2009.  According to the U.S. Green Building Council website, “LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.”

“LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.”  (USGBC.org)

Congratulations on Ms. Fisher’s continuing the Swanson Midgley tradition of actively leading industry developments.
