Kelly Brende to Speak at "Leaving a Legacy — Helping Clients Manage the Wealth Transition"

On June 17, 2010, Swanson Midgley attorney Kelly Dean Brende will present at Leaving a Legacy — Helping Clients Manage the Wealth Transition. This Continuing Professional Education event hosted by American Century Investments was designed specifically to benefit Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Brende will discuss the pros and cons of various Trustee structures (Individual vs. Corporate), triggering events to change a Trustee, planning for removal of existing Trustee, and advanced planning techniques for the small business owner.

Ms. Brende concentrates her practice on estate planning, probate, business planning and taxation, and holds a LL.M. in taxation from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and her law degree, cum laude, from Creighton University.
