Career Overview: John served as a Federal District Court law clerk for the Honorable Joseph E. Stevens, Jr. from 1984-86. He worked for the Stinson, Mag & Fizzell law firm from 1986-91, and the firm of Nygaard & Miller from 1991-96. John then formed the Law office of John J. Miller, P.C. in 1996, where he practiced until joining Swanson Midgley in 2006.

Experience Overview: John has represented hundreds of clients in securities, commercial, and employment arbitration and litigation. John is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an organization of trial lawyers who have achieved verdicts or settlements in excess of one million dollars.

Education:  John received his Juris Doctor in 1984 from the University of Missouri - Columbia.  John also received his undergraduate degree (A.B. with Honors in Economics and B.J. in Journalism) in 1981, at the University of Missouri - Columbia.  Editor-in-Chief, University of Missouri Law Review, 1983-84.
